Favorite “Toys”

So I’m sure a lot of you would like to know what specific stuff I prefer to play with. I talk about it a lot on the blog, but it’s been scattered throughout a bunch of entries up to this point. So I thought I’d make up a nice comprehensive list of all of my favorite bondage implements (Note that there’s a bit of overlap between the gag and restraint sections)

Gags:

• Autumn’s “Slave’s Choice” sturdy ballgag trainer is far-and-away my all-time favorite gag. It’s surprisingly comfortable to wear for long-ish periods, and it’s incredibly effective at keeping me muzzled and muted!

• I’ve had a really hard time finding good panel harness/trainer gags, as I think I’ve discussed here before. The one I’ve been using most lately is from a webstore that no longer exists (and it was pretty pricey), but my favorite in terms of comfort is a cheapo leatherette one on which the buckle tine has a habit of separating from the rest of the buckle If anyone knows of/can find a nice panel trainer harness gag for under $100 (or maybe $150) with a similar construction to this, that allows the panel to seal tightly over the lips, and a soft (rubber or foam, not plastic) ball, please let me know!

• Duct tape that specifically says “heavy-duty,” which you can find in hardware stores and places like Target, is one of the few kinds of tape I’ve found that stays on nicely, even when I’m sweating intensely from exertion or arousal. I….sweat a lot more than the average girl *slightly embarrassed look* Hey, I was never really cut out to be an athlete

• Autumn’s “World’s Best Gag Tape” is a really nice gag tape that’s actually really comfortable (sounds odd to say about gag tape, doesn’t it? ) and stays pretty well even through sweat. It’s basically just electrical tape that’s the width of a typical roll of duct tape, so I’m pretty sure it can be had for a lot less elsewhere (help, plz? )

• Microfoam tape (again, something that can probably be found a lot cheaper elsewhere) is my favorite tape (other than the self-adhesive stuff below ) for heavy-duty wrapping, as it isn’t quite as strong as duct tape or electrical tape as far as sticking to my hair, but the foam muffles me nicely – maybe even better than other tapes

• I really love the idea of bit gags, but the “authentic” hard rubber ones are way too uncomfortable for me to wear for more than a few minutes at a time. I’ve tried a few other types, and this one is currently my favorite. The PVC ones are a little too soft and “forgiving,” so they don’t actually work so well, but this latex one is a nice compromise between comfort and…. *ahem,* “usability” *muffled whinnies*

Restraints:

• Rope! Nylon rope! Smooth, soft, sexy nylon rope! And lots of it!

• Self-adhesive bondage tape (thanks, tieguy22! though I still think this is a much sexier picture ) is definitely my favorite tape for use as an actual bondage restraint. I’m always afraid of the effect a strong adhesive tape like duct tape will have on my stockings (particularly the “softer,” “plusher” ones, like from Victoria’s Secret) or satin gloves/lingerie (strangely, I’m not really worried about my own skin! LOL), and this works just as well, if not better I also really like it for gags, but I put it here because this is how I use it most frequently.

• Satin sashes like these Autumn used to have a wonderfully amusing comment on the page for these, something to the effect of “guys, this is what your girls fantasize about when they think of a bondage fantasy!” It’s at least partially true They also make wonderful cleave gags

• Leather straps in general, but because I’m a somewhat petite little girl, these ½” numbers are my favorites! 1″ers are okay, but they sometimes feel a bit big for me. I also don’t like nylon straps at all, cuz they’re rough and chafe-ey, and the big, hard plastic buckles hurt I haven’t tried rubber ones yet, though I’d really like to!

So I guess that’s about it Rope is (obviously ) majorly my restraint of choice, so while I like the idea of cuffs, and can obviously have fun with them, I vastly prefer the feeling of soft, sensual nylon against my bare or satin/nylon-clad skin So I don’t really have a “favorite” cuff, since I prefer the rope.
